"The USB Continuum: Hands-On " - USB Mastering for Embedded Systems
The Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a great interconnect standard for computer peripherals, but designing embedded systems to work with existing USB interfaces can be a major challenge. When the project calls for an embedded system to act as bus master and interface with off-the-shelf peripherals, it can become a nightmare. In this two-day workshop, we will cover the basics of the USB 1.1 and 2.0 standards and show examples and specifications for interfacing embedded systems as both bus slave and bus master. You will generate your own code and test that code on your own hardware (included in the class!).
