Join us for this two-day hands-on class on real time operating systems, featuring the POSIX-compliant MQX operating system, now being included with some Freescale Coldfire 32-bit microcontrollers. Attendees will receive their own MCF52259 development board and development software, including a 30-day license for CodeWarrior 7.1, a full version of the MQX RTOS, and more! Our classes are taught by an experienced design engineer and trainer with over 30 years experience.

Level: Intermediate / Advanced

Freescale M52259DEMO Board
Featuring the Freescale
MCF52259 32-bit processor

Purpose: Familiarize the student with the requirements and skills to design an embedded system using a real-time operating system.

This class features the newly-released Freescale MCF5225x family which consists of highly integrated devices with on-chip USB, Ethernet, CAN and encryption functions, featuring the complete Freescale MQX RTOS software at no additional cost. This solution is ideal for factory automation, building control, and medical applications.

Students will receive a MCF52259DEMO board, a copy of the CodeWarrior™ 7.1 IDE with 30-day full license, all code and presentation slides, as well as all cables needed. Students will also receive a copy of the MQX RTOS as well as the included USB and TCP/IP demo stacks. All students receive a certificate of participation (suitable for framing!).
